Terms of Service

Last updated: May 28, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using foo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

foo is an AI-powered tool that analyzes YouTube videos. You provide a video URL; we extract the transcript, process it through a large-language model, and return structured analysis (summaries, key points, action items, etc.). The Service is provided on a subscription basis with free and paid tiers.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service beyond the public demo. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or programmatically access the Service without authorization
  • Submit content that infringes on third-party rights
  • Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or other technical restrictions
  • Resell or redistribute analyses generated by the Service without permission

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g., custom prompts). Analyses generated by the Service are provided for your personal or business use. The Service, its design, code, and branding remain our property. YouTube video content belongs to its respective creators and is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Analyses are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or misinterpretations. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis. You should independently verify any information before acting on it. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
